Most automotive training kits on the Indian market are designed for ITI and polytechnic procurement: standardised products, built to a generic spec, sold by the thousand in government tender rounds. That is not what we do.
AES builds custom automotive training kits for OEM dealer networks and in-house technical training programmes. Each kit begins with a brief from the OEM's training team — the vehicle model, the system to be demonstrated, the fault scenarios a dealer technician needs to learn to diagnose. We then design and build a rig that matches the actual systems on that vehicle. The result is a training tool that a technician can use to develop real diagnostic skill, not just theoretical familiarity.
We have been building custom OEM training rigs since 2008. Our clients include some of India's most recognised vehicle manufacturers across the two-wheeler, commercial vehicle, and passenger vehicle segments.

Vehicle sensor demonstration kits
Our sensor demo kits are designed to give technicians hands-on experience with the sensors used in modern vehicles — understanding signal types, expected values, fault conditions, and diagnostic approaches. We offer a 10-sensor variant (covering the most common sensors in a vehicle's engine and chassis systems) and a 17-sensor variant for more comprehensive coverage.
Each kit includes the sensors, wiring harness, a control panel for fault simulation, and a training manual written to the specific systems demonstrated. Kits can be built around the sensor specifications of your vehicle model.
Headlamp circuit training boards
Automotive headlamp systems — particularly on modern vehicles with DRL, adaptive lighting, and CAN-bus integration — are a common diagnostic challenge for dealer technicians. Our headlamp circuit training boards are built around the exact wiring architecture of a specific vehicle model, allowing technicians to trace circuits, simulate faults, and practice diagnosis on a representation of the actual system they will encounter.
Telematics and connectivity training rigs
As connected vehicle features become standard across the range, dealer technicians need to understand telematics systems — how they work, how they communicate, and how to diagnose issues. We have built custom telematics training rigs for OEM training programmes, including rigs that demonstrate live telematics data, GPS positioning, and GSM connectivity.
Engine and powertrain training boards
Engine management, fuel injection, and ignition system training boards give technicians a safe environment to study and diagnose powertrain systems. We build these to the specific engine and management system used in your vehicle range.
Pneumatics and electro-pneumatic trainers
Pneumatics training kits are used in both automotive and industrial training contexts. We build electro-pneumatic demonstration boards for training programmes that cover compressed-air systems, solenoid valves, and pneumatic actuators.
The custom design process
Every custom training kit project at AES follows the same process:
Brief — you tell us the vehicle model, the system, the learning objective, and any fault scenarios you want covered.
Design proposal — we prepare a layout and component specification for your review.
Approval — you confirm the design; we agree on timeline and commercial terms.
Build and test — we manufacture the kit at our Nashik facility and test it before despatch.
Delivery and support — we deliver with a training manual and provide technical support during the first use.
Lead time from approved design to delivery is typically 4–8 weeks depending on complexity. We can handle single-unit commissions and small production runs.
For institutions and ITIs
While our primary focus is on OEM custom rigs, we also supply training kits to polytechnics, ITIs, and engineering colleges.
